Look, I love a massive, loud, story-led wedding party. It’s what I do most weekends. But I also know that sometimes, you just need to get the legal bit done without the production.
Whether you’re heading overseas for a destination wedding, sorting out an immigration partner visa deadline, or you simply hate the idea of being the centre of attention - you don’t need a giant script. You just need to be legally married by someone who knows exactly what they're doing.
Think of this as the ultimate registry office alternative, except it happens over a pint at a pub in Brunswick or a coffee at your local cafe instead of a sterile government room.
The Just-the-Paperwork Package
This is a no-frills, streamlined service designed to get you from "partners" to "spouses" with absolute zero stress. We meet, we sign, you’re married.
The Investment: $500 flat fee
What’s Included:
The Legal Essentials: Lodgement of your Notice of Intended Marriage (NOIM), completion of all official paperwork, and registration of your marriage with Victorian Registry of Births, Deaths and Marriages (BDM).
The Ceremony: The absolute bare minimum required by Australian law. This means the 128 statutory words and the signing of the certificates.
The Timeframe: It takes exactly 10 - 15 minutes.
The Location: A local cafe, bar, pub, park in Brunswick, Fitzroy, Northcote, Collingwood, Essendon or Sunbury.
The Boundaries (Read Before Booking)
To keep this service affordable and quick, I have to be strict about how it works. This is completely separate from my premium, story-led wedding packages. Please make sure you're cool with these rules before reaching out:
No Crowds: This is strictly for the two of you and your two required legal witnesses. If you want to bring 15 family members, an entrance song, and a photographer, that’s an micro wedding. Ask me about my Elopement/ Micro packages instead!
No Customisation: There are no personal vows, no love story scripts and no rehearsals. If you want a personalised ceremony, I would love to build one for you, but it falls under my full-scale wedding options. You are however, more than welcome to exchange vows and rings if you like!
The Schedule: These appointments are generally booked Sunday through Friday, or in dedicated off-peak gaps on Saturdays.
Does not Include: Supporting Letter for Prospective Marriage Visa Application. Add $50 for this- or the Births, Deaths and Marriages application fee. Add $70 for this.
How to Make it Official
By law in Australia, you must lodge your Notice of Intended Marriage (NOIM) at least one calendar month before your signing date. We can do this via video.
